Dalton's Story

Hi I'm Dalton Burton, I was born with a condition called Cerebral Palsy. For those of you unfamiliar with this condition it basically means my muscles are too tight. This makes it hard to  get around. For as long as I can remember, I have had to use forearm canes to walk. My legs were always in pain and the older I got, the lazier I got when it came to exercising. No matter how many surgeries I had nothing motivated me to follow through with the rehab. You would think after 9 surgeries, including having my femur broken and turned 30 degrees out, I would be more motivated to rehab. Instead I played video games all day and sat. It got to a point where some days I could barely walk.

Then one day I heard about DDP Yoga. I am a huge fan of DDP. As a kid he was always one of my favorite wrestlers to watch. Now that I'm older with the dream of one day being a pro wrestler he's one of my favorites to learn from. Then I went on YouTube and saw Arthur's video. It brought tears to my eyes, I had never seen anything so powerful and inspiring. It got me thinking I can do this, this is my chance at redemption.

A friend of mine knew someone who had DDP Yoga and was nice enough to let me give it a shot. Within a month my balance and strength had dramatically increased. I couldn't believe the results I was seeing. After about 5 months I finally had enough cash to be able to buy my own DDP Yoga DVD's and man am I glad I did. The HBK and extreme psyhco workout not only kicked my butt, but they also have really opened up my most problematic areas, Those being my hips, back and knees. Thanks to the combined six months of DDP Yoga I'm now down to only using one cane and am on the fast track to not having to use them at all! At this point its no longer a physical thing for me its mental and training my brain and my body to be on the same page.

In closing I would like to thank DDP, Arthur Boorman, my fellow DDP Yoga warriors, Jeri Klein and Cat Arnett, and everyone from not only team DDP Yoga but anyone who has given me a chance to be a part of there lives and has been kind enough to take the time to get to know me. THIS IS OUR JOURNEY and its just getting started.

Thank you all so much for being such a positive impact on my life. I cannot thank you enough. To quote the late great Warrior man ALWAYS BELIEVE!

Best wishes to you all,

Dalton Burton
