In 2012, I was at my personal absolute worst shape I had even been in. I suffer from depression and anxiety and at the beginning of 2013 I decided that I wasn't going to let it hold me back anymore and that is how I got to DDP Yoga.

 

A friend bought it for me as a gift for helping him out when he had a tough time.  I have a before and after picture from back then as well but it has writing on it. It showed really what a difference it made in my life. Unfortunately my depression came back worse than ever due to my job being highly stressful. For two years after that I did it off and on because my depression was too powerful, even with medicine. My health declined as well as I ballooned to 215 pounds in 2015. For a guy who is only 5'9, that is pretty terrible. Then my fiance and I had a major tragedy as she had a miscarriage and we didn't know she was pregnant.

 

From then on I decided that I am going to work through that and my depression no matter what. For myself to keep distracted, to obviously get in better shape, and also to motivate my fiance so she would do the same. from October 2015 to January 2016 I lost 20 pounds, doesn't seem like too much in that amount of time because I was rebuilding muscle. I tried out the DDP Yoga Now app and it really challenged me. After my 30th birthday I decided to go all out working out every day and eventually started doing Diamond Cutter every day along with Red Hot Core. I lost 17 more pounds in that short amount of time and my body is more defined that ever. I haven't looked this good in 10 years! I have 10 more pounds to my final goal and I will keep working hard and hoping to jump start other people's progress. The stories I have seen are totally inspiring, but the bottom line is that you have to get yourself up and do the work. My favorite thing about this program is that I can make it my own.
