I am a proud wife, mother and a disabled navy veteran. I have been through a lot of trials the past few years but with the help of my DDPY community I was able to not only survive it all but thrive in the process!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy DDPY journey started in December 2020, after hearing DDP say \" I am proud of you, and you can do it\" enough times, I started to build confidence in myself and I was able to make positive changes in many areas of my life.  I hadn't put all the puzzle pieces together just yet but I was building a habit of consistency.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile most of the world was on lock down at home, I still worked in the public. I contracted covid 4 times, and was diagnosed with long covid . Additionally, I was diagnosed with an immune deficiency and started to receive weekly immunoglobulin infusions, then a slew of more diagnoses followed, including multiple autoimmune disorders which all contribute to my daily chronic pain, fatigue and malaise. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI am a sexual trauma survivor multiple times over in my life. In 2022 yet again it happened, while at work. I kept silent for 6 months, when I finally opened up, I was not protected in the way that I needed. I did not feel safe most of the time while working there for the 9 months after, however I did have my lunch hour in my office, and I spent it with DDP, he helped build me back up physically and mentally.  I was a strong, capable woman, in a high position at work, with the responsibility of caring for others. I did not share my struggles and weaknesses, instead I hid. However I had Dallas again telling me he was proud of me and believing in me.  Although I was battling all these internal things,  I believed in Dallas,  because of that belief, I was able to trust men again and then meet my wonderful husband Gordon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJanuary 2023 I gathered all my strength to take the ride with my wonderful husband , to meet Dallas at some wrestling thing.When I met him, he actually knew who I was ! He definitely does pay attention to the Facebook group. The first thing he said to me, after looking me straight in the eye,  \" I am proud of you \" I was 100lbs heavier than I am now at the time, yet...he was proud of me! I had only been hearing it through the TV but to hear it in person is on a whole new level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was such an honor to get to be able to tell him how important he was in my life. Unfortunately two months after meeting him I began to get sicker and sicker. I made the decision to quit working because of my constant pain and fatigue. I had gotten so weak that my loving husband had to shower and even feed me at times. I had no more hope left, I had no idea what I was going to do in my life, if I even had a life. I felt that I had nothing to offer the world anymore. My worth, my identity has always been tied to a job. I had gotten so weak that if I was able to get out of the house, I would have to use my walker with a seat, so I could rest every few feet or so. I had gotten so weak that I lost 3 inches of muscle off each calf.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJanuary 2025,  Transformation University began, I had a slow start, it took 2 ½ months from the support of the staff and the community to help me come out of my deep dark cave and into the light. I was able to process and accept my current health conditions, and was able to grieve my old life.  When March came, the consistency challenge began and I started getting on the mat and on the seventh day, I walked on the beach with my walker for the first time in years! I needed that small win to propel me further.  Steve Yu taught me to always protect my habits!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI am now a third time graduate of Transformation University, currently working on my 4th semester. Learning never stops. I am proud to say, I also completed all 90 days of Beast Mode!\u003cbr\u003eI am living my life in DDPY’S three pillars, Mindset, Fitness, and Nutrition, and finally learned the lesson that it is a lifestyle change.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI can finally stand tall and be proud to say that I have finally learned DDP's lesson, \" life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. In January 2025 I was close to being bedridden and on January 14, 2026, as I was sitting in my she-shed, I had a new dream that was placed on my heart.
