Hi everyone, Kimberly Maracle here! I am a proud wife, mother and a disabled navy veteran. I have been through a lot of trials the past few years but with the help of my DDPY community I was able to not only survive it all but thrive in the process!
My DDPY journey started in December 2020, after hearing DDP say " I am proud of you, and you can do it" enough times, I started to build confidence in myself and I was able to make positive changes in many areas of my life. I hadn't put all the puzzle pieces together just yet but I was building a habit of consistency.
While most of the world was on lock down at home, I still worked in the public. I contracted covid 4 times, and was diagnosed with long covid . Additionally, I was diagnosed with an immune deficiency and started to receive weekly immunoglobulin infusions, then a slew of more diagnoses followed, including multiple autoimmune disorders which all contribute to my daily chronic pain, fatigue and malaise.
I am a sexual trauma survivor multiple times over in my life. In 2022 yet again it happened, while at work. I kept silent for 6 months, when I finally opened up, I was not protected in the way that I needed. I did not feel safe most of the time while working there for the 9 months after, however I did have my lunch hour in my office, and I spent it with DDP, he helped build me back up physically and mentally. I was a strong, capable woman, in a high position at work, with the responsibility of caring for others. I did not share my struggles and weaknesses, instead I hid. However I had Dallas again telling me he was proud of me and believing in me. Although I was battling all these internal things, I believed in Dallas, because of that belief, I was able to trust men again and then meet my wonderful husband Gordon.
January 2023 I gathered all my strength to take the ride with my wonderful husband , to meet Dallas at some wrestling thing. When I met him, he actually knew who I was ! He definitely does pay attention to the Facebook group. The first thing he said to me, after looking me straight in the eye, " I am proud of you " I was 100lbs heavier than I am now at the time, yet...he was proud of me! I had only been hearing it through the TV but to hear it in person is on a whole new level.
It was such an honor to get to be able to tell him how important he was in my life. Unfortunately two months after meeting him I began to get sicker and sicker. I made the decision to quit working because of my constant pain and fatigue. I had gotten so weak that my loving husband had to shower and even feed me at times. I had no more hope left, I had no idea what I was going to do in my life, if I even had a life. I felt that I had nothing to offer the world anymore. My worth, my identity has always been tied to a job. I had gotten so weak that if I was able to get out of the house, I would have to use my walker with a seat, so I could rest every few feet or so. I had gotten so weak that I lost 3 inches of muscle off each calf.
January 2025, Transformation University began, I had a slow start, it took 2 ½ months from the support of the staff and the community to help me come out of my deep dark cave and into the light. I was able to process and accept my current health conditions, and was able to grieve my old life. When March came, the consistency challenge began and I started getting on the mat and on the seventh day, I walked on the beach with my walker for the first time in years! I needed that small win to propel me further. Steve Yu taught me to always protect my habits!
I am now a third time graduate of Transformation University, currently working on my 4th semester. Learning never stops. I am proud to say, I also completed all 90 days of Beast Mode!
I am living my life in DDPY’S three pillars, Mindset, Fitness, and Nutrition, and finally learned the lesson that it is a lifestyle change.
I can finally stand tall and be proud to say that I have finally learned DDP's lesson, " life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. It is my purpose to help get you there as well.
Never stop dreaming! In January 2025 I was close to being bedridden and on January 14, 2026, as I was sitting in my she-shed, I had a new dream that was placed on my heart. I want to help others get out of their deep dark cave and I want to be able to shine the light for others by becoming a DDPY Fast Track Coach!
I am blessed to have the opportunity to be your next DDPY Fast Track Coach!
FastTrack Clients who do not have active memberships to the DDP YOGA NOW app will be granted full access to all DDPY workouts during their coaching perio
Transformation Testimonials
Amy Aubin
Having a fast track coach has been amazing. You have been encouraging, supportive and a mentor. Through our facetime chats, you have provided so much guidance. You listened to all my concerns, you helped me see things from a new perspective, and you were patient. Any time I felt like I was failing my own goals and expectations, you were there to provide words of encouragement but also help me not feel like I failed. Even if I didn’t meet my own goal, you were there to help in breaking down why I wasnt able to meet it and also helped come up with new ways that I could make it happen. Without you I dont think I would be on my 138th consecutive workout (as of May 29, 2026). I absolutely would not have joined TU and even if there was a slight chance I did join, I probably would not have followed through with it. You helped make the journey of DDPY not be overwhelming and helped me find structure. You were a key part of helping me build the foundation that I now have that will not let me give up so easily anymore. You helped remind me there are days that may be hard to hit the mat (due to injuries, pain, just life in general) that its ok to pivot and modify DDPY. It is not "taking it easy" and its not "slacking" to do a slower workout if needed. I now know that its ok to give myself grace and forgive myself when I feel like I let myself down when I cant always give it my all. You have taught me so much about using DDPY to its full potential and helped me get out of my comfort zone and try new workouts and instructors instead of just doing the same DDP lead work out. You have also helped me in my personal life. You have also helped me navigate many of the struggles I face in every day to day life. You always touch base via email and video call. You are readily available when I need any assistance, a friend, a coach, or a cheerleader. You make me feel seen and you celebrate all the milestones and scale and non-scale victories alike. You have helped me lose about 10 in the last 12 weeks. With your guidance and encouragement, along with tips and instructions of workouts to try and bettering my nutrition as well as daily water intake, I broke through a plateau I was stuck in before you became my coach. You focus on mental and physical health, everyday life, working out and nutrition equally and help make the connection of how any one of those can impact the other(s). It has been amazing to have you to share my journey with as well as all my victories and even some of my defeats. Knowing you are behind me and that I have your support have been instrumental in getting me where I am now. The things accomplished by me now, are things I never knew I could do because I didnt have the confidence or the determination that you helped me attain during these last 12 weeks. I am proud to call you my coach and friend. Thank you for everything.
