My story begins about a year and a half ago. I had heard about DDP YOGA off on on before that but around a year and a half ago I can across Arthur Boorman's story on YouTube and I was totally blown away. I mean here this disabled vet that couldn't walk under his own power anymore it was incredible to me. That slowly lit a fire in me but it took several months after seeing that video to where I finally was ready to make a change. Then I saw the Resurrection Of Jake The Snake and I was ready to change. It was maybe a month or so after that when I had finally had enough of what I was becoming and where I was headed. I was at my local Walmart having just used the machine that checks your blood pressure and it was very high. That was my moment when I said to myself enough is enough. I have two young sons that I want to be around to see grow up. So I downloaded the DDP YOGA NOW app a few days later and started doing some of the free workouts that were on the app. I did this for about a month then in November of last yr I finally paid for my first three months and have been doing the workouts ever since paying for three months at a time. I used to workout at different gyms in the past but none of that compared to DDP YOGA. I had to stop going to the gym and that's when I got up to my heaviest I had ever been before starting DDP YOGA. Dallas is so inspirational and motivational for me. I've never had workouts where I looked forward to my next one but that's where DDP YOGA is different because I look forward to my next workout. I love it so much that now when I start a new 13 week program I add a bunch of workouts in the beginning of the program when there is a lot to do. So far I have lost 50 pounds and I have 18 more to reach my first goal. I changed up what I was eating and drinking as well. Before I was eating garbage. We would get pizza and breadsticks as well. I would eat candy bars and other junk as well , pasta, breads etc. Now I do my best to stay away from all of that junk. I can't remember the last time I had pizza or candy bars etc. I also used to drink soda or juice but now it's just water. I try to drink as close to a gallon a day as I can. This journey has helped me to take back control of my life and I am so thankful for Diamond Dallas Page and DDP YOGA. I'm not going to let food take control of my life ever again!! So far I've lost 50lbs and have 18lbs left until I reach my first goal. I'm down a pant size and shirt size as well
