I have been heavy for as long as I can remember. I guess looking in the mirror every morning, it never registered just how big I had become. Over the years, I would have to buy bigger and bigger clothes. I was in denial about my weight problem, telling myself that certain brands of clothing simply fit differently, and it was just an aggravation I had to deal with.

Gradually, I became less and less active. I had no desire to exercise, always making up an excuse as to why I couldn't. Unfortunately, I had an accident and fractured my L6 vertebrae.  Even after the fracture was healed, the pain and stiffness in my lower back remained, which made it seem like exercise was now impossible.

I finally hit rock bottom and realized that I had to make a change. I was with my family at an amusement park, and I wanted to get on a ride with my daughters, but I could not fit in the seat. It was a humiliating experience, but at the same time, that moment gave me the motivation I needed to confront my problem, and make a lifestyle change.

I was scrolling through Facebook one day and saw the Arthur Boorman video; I was simply amazed.  I thought to myself, if a man that could not walk without the assistance of crutches can now run due to DDP Yoga, then what excuse do I have not to try the same program.

I remember completing my first Diamond Dozen workout, feeling as if I was going to die. I was completely exhausted, out of breath, felt nauseous, and dripping with sweat. Now, I do Diamond Cutter three times a week and love it.

I recently finished the beginner 2.0 program, and am now working on the intermediate 2.0 program. I still have a long way to go on my journey, but I am very pleased thus far.

In addition to weight loss, this program has given me confidence.  I have never had this much self-confidence, and it truly is an amazing feeling. The stiffness and pain in my lower back has significantly improved, and I never thought I would have the flexibility that I have now.  I can't wait to see how much my body changes as I progress in this program.

I started out at 340lbs, and in four months, I am now at 275lbs. My goal is 200lbs. I have taken significant steps to eliminate sugars, fast food, processed foods, etc. from my diet.  I feel amazing, and this program is definitely something I can stick with
