My first attempt at trying DDP Yoga over a year ago was an epic failure. Not because the program wasn't working, but because I wasn't following the program properly I heard DDP say in one of the weekly guide videos, "it's not a workout. It's a lifestyle." I thought to myself, "whoa, that's a little dramatic, bro. I'm not going to do all of that stuff in the food plan. I'll just do the workouts and eventually, I'll get to where I want to be physically." I started at 200 lbs. I felt bad ALL the time, I looked terrible, and my right knee and lower back constantly hurt me. While I was seeing some improvements from the workouts, my diet was still garbage and I wasn't seeing improvements fast enough and eventually gave up.

Fast-forward to December of 2017. I stepped on the scale and realized that over the holidays, I ballooned up to 220 lbs. I told myself that it was time to try the program again, but do it the right way. Not only did I restart the program, but I kicked it into high-gear, doing 4-6 workouts/week. I also cut out all of the crap from my diet. Fast food has become a thing of the past, I'm working elements of
the food plan into my cooking at home, and I've also greatly reduced my alcohol intake. I wrote down for my goal that I would lose 50 lbs in 6 months.

I'm currently in week 11 of the program and I just did my first Diamond Cutter workout yesterday. My current weight is 185, 10 lbs. past the half-way mark of my goal! My joints and back feel much better. I don't even feel any pain in my right knee anymore. And on top of all that, not only am I staying away from the garbage food that was keeping me fat, but I don't even crave it anymore! I actually tried eating some greasy, fried crap as a cheat meal, and I didn't even finish it because I wasn't enjoying it. I remember thinking to myself, "Damn, I guess it's a lifestyle after all."

If I can do this, you can do this. DDP YOGA works. OWN IT!
