I haven't always been overweight, but after my pregnancies, I really let myself go. My third pregnancy was a difficult one. I had some serious, life threatening complications that landed me on hospital bed rest for months.  I am blessed to say our little miracle, despite being 12 weeks premature, was born healthy and is doing amazing, but being on hospital bed rest, the stress of being away from home, and having a new baby in the hospital wasn't so amazing for me.  I started to pack on the pounds. I had horrible self esteem and was feeling depressed.  My attitude towards myself was not only affecting me but affecting my children and my marriage. How could I expect my family to be happy with me if I was not happy with myself? I decided it was time to take back my life for my children, for my husband, and for myself.

 

One morning I was scrolling through Facebook and saw Arthur's inspirational video. I thought to myself that DDP YOGA was something that I might like to try. That same night, my husband and I were watching Shark Tank, and Dallas was on the show speaking about DDP YOGA. (Big mistake sharks...) Before the show ended, I had already purchased my set of DDP YOGA DVDs.

 

I received my DVDs on March 5th, and jumped into the program full force. I am so ecstatic to say that I lost 30lbs in less than 12 weeks and have lost a total of 35lbs so far.  I feel better than I ever have, both mentally and physically.  I have a ways left to go, but I am so excited for this journey, and I am never looking back.
