Jerry's Journey to walk again!

I was walking with a cane.

I was really desperate

I was forced to face some very difficult and unwanted truths.

I was in free fall with no bottom and felt like life was completely out of my control.

I saw myself in a mirror when in a clothing store and

I sat right there in the fitting room and cried.

It wasn’t until my 2nd daughter was born

that I realized I needed to change

Then one day I stepped on the scale.

Seeing 350 lbs is scary.

I never thought I was going to get to wrestle with my kids, pick them up, anything.

Now I can be a dad again.

For most of my life I had not cared

about my health for a second.

Since childhood, I have had numerous corrective surgeries

to help with my walking and balance from Cerebral Palsy.
